FAQ

How long will my order take?
​

Our beds have an upholstery lead time of up to 8 weeks.  You can contact our office for the current lead times on 01377 271007. Once your bed has been completed and is ready for delivery we will send an image of the headboard for your approval and an invoice for the final balance will be forwarded to you.

 

Your remaining balance will need to be paid within 7 working days of receipt of the final invoice.Delivery is then arranged within 14 working days from the final balance payment, or within 21 working days if you are in Scotland or the South West

If payment of your remaining balance hasn't been made within the 7 days your order is at risk of being sold on.  Do ensure you keep in touch with us, we will always be happy to help if you have any problems.

 

What if I would like to cancel or change my order?

 

If you would like to cancel your order please let us know as soon as possible before upholstery commences. If you have ordered a bespoke item (painted in a different finish than advertised) your deposit is non-refundable.

 

 
Do you provide International delivery?

 

We deliver to anywhere Mainland UK within 14-21 working days of receiving your item in stock. Customers overseas are able to arrange courier collection and we would be happy to dispatch our products with them so long as they are fully insured for any damages / losses

 

How do I return an item?

Your item must be returned in it's original condition and packaging within 14 working days of notifying us of your cancellation. Once received into the warehouse and checked over the refund will be processed within 14 working days to the account payment was made from.  If any damages are to occur prior to return the cost will be deducted from your refund.  Please ensure that you use a courier that provides a tracking service and is fully insured for goods in transit in case of damages.

 

 We are able to collect the item for you if required for a fee of up to £80 per item.

Should wish to return the item with the driver upon delivery please do send this back on the van with him - no collection fee will apply in this case and your refund will be processed upon the item's return into the warehouse.

If you have any issues with the product after delivery we do offer a 6 month warrantee to cover any manufacturer defects.  This does not cover wear and tear (chips, stains, hairline cracks in the woodwork) or customer damage.  Please forward any information and photographs to info@welbrookinteriors.com and our aftersales team will look into this for you.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure that you get maximum use out of your new Solid Wood bed, please follow the care instructions closely.

Your item is made with a Solid White Cedar or Mahogany carcass. As wood is an organic material it is sensitive to the changes in climate and can expand and contract when hot or cold. Please ensure that you keep your new item away from central heating, in a room that is at a constant temperature.

​

If you have an upholstered item, any fluids or chemicals should be kept away from the fabric. This can stain or mark the fabric. Please keep naked flames away from the material.

​

Please use coasters when placing a drink of any sort down onto the painted finish.

​

Dust the item regularly with a microfibre cloth and minimal furniture polish.

​

After a month to 6 weeks bolts may need re-tightening as the furniture settles.

​

During the production process there are many opportunities for the slats to become dusty. Please use your best judgement when assembling as to whether they would need a wipe down.

Please remember that the slats are made from Solid Hard Wood and are untreated. This may result in the natural oils leaving marks on the mattress, should you wish this not to happen take precautionary measures necessary.
